omg!just found my very full freezer not shut properly!

it should be, because you will be cooking it all before you eat it.
i wouldn't ahve thought it woul dhave defrosted THAT much?

check and see if it has... if anytrihng is totalyl defrosted then fridge it. OR, cook and refreeze

Is it iced up? If not it's absolutely OK, even if it is it's still not disastrous, this is always happening to mine (#@+*&^% kids getting icecream out usually) and I just scrape off the worst of the ice and close it again

I would be carefull about refreezing anything that has defrosted. I would cook up what can be refrozen once cooked like sausages etc.
If stuff near the back is still solid it should be OK. But anything soft you need to be careful with.
