rash on 12 month old

my 12 month dd has a rash on her legs. She started with a temperature on Thursday. On friday there were a few red spots under the skin (just like pin pricks) two visits to the drs confirm that this is not meningitis!!!!
she is off her food. The rash now covers both legs-it is a series of slightly raised red dots. The drs suggested a viral rash but it isn't going. She is bright enough in herself although slightly under the weather-ie not obviously seriously unwell-any ideas what this is?

You have ruled out allergy, soap powder, foods sweat?
If she has a temp then does sound viral.
Trouble is, it will probably clear up and you may never know the cause of it.

As long as she is drinking plenty and not poorly with it, i would just keep an eye on it and go back to the Docs if you are worried. You are probably doing that any way.

Sorry no suggestions and no helpful advice hun.

a viral rash often lasts a few days.

2 weeks ago myDD came out in the most alarming rash i had ever seen, it was huge red lumpy swellings, a trip to A& E and they had no idea what it was! her glands were swollen so they thought it was just a viral infection, and the next day it was virtually gone. you probably wont ever know what it is, i wouldnt worry unless child gets ill. you know when they arent right, hope it goes soon.
