Last week my dentist filed a back molar (and charged me £60 for the privilege). While anaethetised he must have put pressure on my jaw because I've been left with strained ligaments (I think - self-diagnosis) on that side. As a result I can't move my jaw properly, can't open my mouth wide enough to eat properly, and can't speak properly.
I'm going back to see him on Friday, and no doubt he'll have to treat me. The question is, should I pay for any further X-rays, drugs etc to diagnose/rectify this?
I think not, but would apprecaite your opinions. I don't have private health or dental insurance, so 'pay as I go'.
Thanks,
BL
