My son spent the day in hospital at the end of June. We thought he has appendicitis, but it turned out he was profoundly constipated. We have never had to deal with constipation. As a toddler, he had toddler diarhhoea and we thought he would outgrow it. Now at nearly 4 1/2, he often has loose stools, intermitent with constipation, passing wind and gripey tummy. His tummy pain was so sever in June that he was writhing in pain and was vomitting.
What do you think? Would it be woth taking him back to the dr and mentioning it to them? apart from all the above, he seems happy & healthy. (It's just a bit of a nuisance as sometimes we have to find a toilet NOW and trying to teach toilet wiping can be difficult if he gets into a mess). I guess I am just more worried now that he is at school.
