Will I need someone with me to go home after I've taken it?

Depends on the dose. Common dose as a sleeping tablet for people who've never used them (ie when in hospital) is 10mg.

All I know is that it used to be and possibly still is fairly sought after on 'the street'. There are people who go to great lengths to aquire it.
I'd be very interested to sample it in a legal and controlled environment.
My dh was given it once in A&E to help him sleep but they made him take it before he left the hospital because, apparently, some people blag it then sell it.

ooh, it's lovely. used to take it a fair bit back in my heyday.

I'd get someone to come and help you home if you have a long journey, Noddyholder.

The sought after variety was banned in my hospital (the capsule type where you can withdraw the liquid and inject it). Strictly tablets only in our eastend hospital.

Not too sure. Valium is Diazepam, bit different. Can't remember what form it came in.
