feeling a little anxious.

DT2 see him tomorrow, right side of his throat has closed- a bit like his tonsils have taken over. Has been like this a year now, but progressively got worse to the stage he chokes on his food.

He also has another assesment at HV next tuesday-hi co-ordination is poor he can be walking 1 minute a fall the next- we are aware this is a kid thing but honest not to this extent.

He has to see speach and language therapist too and they say his motor neuron skills are poor( still not 100% on what motor neuron skills are help me if you can please). When he plays with his toys he gives his total attention to 1 thing looses it totally if his twin or elder brother come near him or attempt to tale the toy. HV worried about his legs the way he sits aparantly s a woory- as if on knees but legs out to the side.

WHY have they waited till now to do all these test I am freaking out and very worried- am i over reacting?

No advice here i'm afraid, but best of luck ( & Hugs) for tomorrow. Make sure all the professionals answer all your questions for you.

Let us know how you get on.

well his tonsils are big but not a worry, say they dont like to take them out before they are 2 as they bleed badly[worry icon]

As he has always choked on his food they have also reffered him over to a gastroencologist now we wait for that appt. He has only gained 1lb 3oz in 3 months and is very underweight. Before he can be seen by a dietician we need to see gastro peeps 1st.

Dh did ask if the fact he was ventilated at birth could be connected but have to wait for an answer on this one too.

We have an assesment also next tuesday regarding his development and co-ordination

Feel like i have been crying all today at work my poor wee lamb has so much to deal with I need to be strong mummy but breaking inside with worry

Yes, but you also need to be allowed to have your perfectly justifiable feelings. Being strong doesn't mean you can't be sad and frightened as well, it just means that despite that you carry on, and you will.
