I usually use

Apollo Travel

Get a few quotes first from other places, then ring them and they will undercut the price for you.

Good luck!

Try Trailfinders. They tend to be the same price as most websites. They can book flights and hotels but don't tend to do traditional packages. They used to be long haul only but I think they now deal with Europe as well.

Don't go with an agent. If you have a computer you can do exactly the same as a travel agent for less money.

As drayford says where do you want to do - let me know and I'll point you in the right direction.
Sometimes - it's better to book flights and hotels yourself - can be much much cheaper, particularly if you know exactly where you want to go and when!

Where do you want to go????

Try otbeach.com or travelrepublic.co.uk - both are ABTA members and you can book a package, just a flight or just a hotel.

try iglu.com they often have the offers from various tour operators.
Want to go away and have found the high street travel agents too expensive.

I am wondering if it's cheaper to do it online??

Thanks

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
