Sorry, this is probably so basic, but I just can't figure it out.

(v basic baby steps would be appreciated!)

Are they pictures you have taken with the iPhone's camera? So that they are on the Camera roll?

These are fairly easily transferred to your computer so you can print them from there.

I have Vista, but afaik, the procedure in XP will be similar.

Open My Computer & connect the iPhone with the USB cable. When the iPhone appears in My Computer, right click it & choose Import Pictures. They will appear under Pictures in a folder with today's date.

You may also find that when you connect the iPhone you get an AutoPlay dialogue box, with one of the options being Import Pictures - you can use this if you prefer.

Try Spool! It's a free app. You can order on the iPhone, they print and post back to you. I used it last week and the photos arrived next day. It's definitely worth a look...

Can you take it to those machine things in Boots? Do they print from iPhones using bluetooth or something?

If you don't have a cable you can just email them to yourself and print from the computer.

If you need to print them as proper photos I think the photo booths in the likes of Boots or Tescos have docks to link up to iphones so you can print directly from there. Or save to a memory stick before you go.

Commonly, there are three ways you can print photos from your iPhone: print with AirPrint, export your photos from iPhone and take them to the nearby store to print them or print with some apps.
If you need to know the details of these three ways, you can visit:

You can use an app called 'Fujifilm Imagine' which connects to your local print shop for collection or delivery. You can print your photos in a range of sizes and finishes and they have photo gifts as well.

Cheap, easy and good quality!

This thread was first posted 7 years ago, so I hope the OP has managed to print her pictures by now

Especially as they were for a class diary - the child is probably doing GCSEs...

Print photos can be printed online and then received by post. But if it is a very private picture, you can buy a mini printer yourself. In addition, printing text messages from iPhone is also a way. www.fonecope.com/how-to-print-text-messages-from-iphone.html

It’s really easy to do it in Boots.. They have various cables so just plug it in, and it should automatically start to download (or is it upload?) the pics. You can edit eg crop, lighten them etc, choose the size you want and select one hour, one day or three day service, if I remember correctly. Or you can print them there and then.

For JPG photos on iPhone, you can first export them to computer and print them later. Here is the tutorial for file transfer between iPhone and computer: www.iphonetransferrecovery.com/tutorials/transfer-photos-from-iphone-to-mac.html
