Geeky stuff

Almost every thread I go on has at least one link on it. How is this done? He-e-e-lp.

I perfected the old method and have never quite mastered the new one - bizarre as the new method should be easier

I always seem to end up with a massive long line of stuff

Copy the URL you want to link,
then open mn start a post with (then paste copied URL here) then type and that should be it.

You can also do it like this \link{paste url here\then type a description}

Hope that helps!

Yurtgirl - Leave a space after the address you're linking then put what you want the link to say eg. this page, then ]] and you won't get a long line

It explains links next to the message box, under the smileys. It's easy

How about in my language....
Open two windows one for MN and one for the one that you want to add as a link.
Go to the web page you want to add as a link.
Highlight the web address at the top of the screen-do this by clicking the left mouse button once so it turns blue.
Then while still blue do a right click of the mouse and select 'copy'.
Then, go back to mn message box,click in there and do a right click and select 'paste'.
Then add at the begining and at the end.
Does this help?
