Please help me save my photos of DD newborn

My first photos of my DD when she was born were taken using my mobile phone.

I have managed to learn how to downlaod them onto the pc using bluetooth but..

They've downloaded as .gif and not .jpeg.

Can Tescos photo centre or any other deal with .gifs, or do I need to convert them somehow to jpegs?

Please tell me I can do this somehow as the pc is my partners, we are separating, and therefore need to do it before he locks me out of the pc!

Help pleeease

I'm sure you can convert them.. back soonAt the very least you would be able to print out gifs on your own photo printer

this kind of thing
haven't tried it though so check it.
Don't know if you may lose some quality.
Sorry your partner is making life difficult

definitely try it before buring your bridges
Although I don't see why Tesco/Boots shouldn't be able to handle gifs
IIRC gifs are better so you should be OK

In fact you can open .gif files in Paint (which is on most if not all Windows computers) & save them as jpegg. But do keep the originals if you can put them on a CD or something because jpegs do lose quality

.PNGs are very good these days rather than gif and jpeg which can go grainy.

Yes thanks, got it sorted. Took ages though, and had to resort to deception to get him out of the house. Feel like a fugitive in my own home.

Many thanks for your help
