Can I get my deleted facebook messages back?

I was clearing out my inbox in a tidying frenzy and have deleted a couple of messages I needed, with phone numbers etc on.

I can obviously get them again, but rather than having to admit to several different people what a fool I am, I was wondering if there was another way of retrieving them!

If you replied to their message then they will be in your sent box too
