AOL what's wrong with it?

I can't get onto AOL by going through the shortcut on my desktop. It gets to checking password then stops.

I have had ongoing fights with AOL about the lack of service they provide. I have been able to get on going through internet explorer but nothing else.

i am trying to get through with internet explorer but i stops at trying to load the login page and says to try later

Here's a silly question for you Tegan, does it cost you any more money to do it that way? DH asked me that last night and I haven't a clue. I'm am thick when it comes to these things.

i had aol on my pc with wireless broadband for 14.99 a month but pc blew up on saturday so had to get a laptop on sunday and when i switched it on and clicked internet explorer it automaitcally found aol so that is how i left it, why will i be charged?

I may have to phone them and ask said silly question. I've had to phone them so much that I have them on speed-dial.

My AOL always plays up - have you changed your password? If so, you need to go onto explorer and change the password of your router thingy. Otherwise check all wires etc (are all the lights on? What box do you have?) , switch off PC and start again etc.

have checked all cables and are ok.
how do i do the exporer thingy you mentioned.

AOL working fine for me today (mostly it kicks me off every 2 hrs & have to reconnect but not even that today

that's what I put in (address bar of explorer), but if all your lights are on I doubt it;s your router thingy...

AOL has been down (DUH NO-ONE listens to me)

I have free AOL and it's worked fine and dandy all morning for me.

right i have downloaded aol version 9.0 vr and everything seems tobe working hunky dory

I downloaded it from aol.com and connect through ntl.
AOL UK will let you use another ISP but charge 4.99 a month or something. This way, I don't pay anything for it.
