Trouble with photo resizing

For some reason I am unable to resize photos I have stored in My Pictures. Usually I just click on the photo, up comes the option to resize, I select "small" and click and it happens. At the moment, nothing is happening.

I have tried deleting lots of pictures in My Pictures - to no avail.

I have tried downloading the resizing program linked to by Mumsnet in "My Mumsnet" but it says I already have the program - which I do. I originally got it from Mumsnet.

I have tried replacing the old installation with the new one.

Nothing is happening folks.

Anyone got any ideas?

go to explore and find the picture file,right click and choose resize. it should then save another copy into the folder with the filename(small). then upload that file.

Not sure, but if you need something to resize whilst you are sorting it, download Picasa, choose the pic and click export - it will then allow you to change the size. HTH

Dragonbutter, I am not sure what you mean about going to explore, but all the rest of what you said is exactly what I have tried. It used to work, but suddenly it does not.

Bubblerock, I am reluctant to download anything new until I can sort this out (dh's pc, not mine). I originally downloaded something anyway...
