Finding duplicate files, especially images on a pc

Someone, somewhere has recommended a program/utility that recognises duplicate files on a computer so you can get rid of them - was it someone on MN?

I now have my nice new laptop & want to put my pictures on - but I have been moving pictures between a laptop & pc at home & two separate drives on the server at work for about three years now. I have them all on an external hard drive, but I probably have lots of duplicates, which I want to get rid of

Can anyone help?

I use Duplicate Files Deleter as it is very effective. It is 100% accurate and performs the scan quickly.
