heeelp - how do me and dh create a JOINT event on facebook?

We're having a baby blessing for ds. We want to make a facebook event as well as sending 'real' invites. We cannot make it recognise us BOTH as admins for our event, so we can't invite people off both our lists of friends. Can anyone help??
