If so, do you leave Skype me switched on?

Em I use it all the time and I do have weirdos trying to talk to me but I just ignore them. There is some way of setting it so weirdos cant contact you but I haven't figured that out yet.

Ah yes, I just switched it on. As have included by skype contact on the end of my email signature but just had a message from someone random and I didn't know if I was likely to be flooded with them. Do you ever use the SMS message feature?

This reminded me that I have to set it up again this Christmas including getting it to recognise my webcam so we can skype my parents (My mum has got my dad a webcam for Christmas)
I know my 2 single friends are constantly on skype me and sit chating to people from all over the world, one got a few dates out of it too and a trip to Vienna and Paris to meet people. I used to have it switched off as I only wanted it to talk to certain people.

presumably the SMS feature is free if you're sending to other skype users?

What sort of webcam do you all use? I have a microsoft one and when I connected it the Cd installed that microsoft messenger thing which took ages to get rid of and now the Skype programme can't find my webcam - why can't it be straight forward plug and play like it says?
