Mumsnet autoposting now onAndroid?

Most noticeable thing for me was that iplayer no longer stopped part way through to rebuffer.

Downloading software updates was quick, pity laptop still took ages to install them but least no waiting hours for an itunes update.

I didn't notice any difference but DH did with the games he plays online. I mostly just browse the net.

I am (sadly) quite excited but also have a nagging suspicion it won't be as wow as I expect it to be

I think a lot will depend on how fast your current broadband is and what you use it for.

If you mainly use it for Facebook, web surfing then probably not very noticeable.

If like my house you have myself trying to upload photos, the wife watching iPlayer, kids playing games & watching Youtube then a big difference!!!

That said after the initial week or two of "OMG This is AMAZING!!!!" The novelty wears off and everyone just accepts it's normal.

Until something goes wrong. Dunno what happened but today my Internet speeds dropped to around what I used to get via ADSL and it was like someone had chopped my arm off! A quick reboot of my router sorted it but still......it scared me! Blush

LOL NiceGuy - I am a bit 'this is slow' if my iMac switches from Plus.Net to Three connection, as I've not yet taken the jump to FTTC. Estimated speed here is 33.5 Mbps (while there's a fibre cabinet 30 feet from back window, serving other side of the main road, and the estimate for the chippy is 67 Mbps... grrrrrr Envy

Initially it is OMG AMAZING as niceguy2 says.

I still find it amazing tbh and a bit like magic.....
