help needed to replace an iphone 5 screen

Hello! I got my son a second hand iphone 5 with money he had saved. The one I got has a replaced white screen... stupidly I hadn't realised it wasn't original and he wanted a standard black screen. There is nothing wrong with the screen, he just wants black not white.

Does anyone know if if need to buy a new replacement screen? Any ideas?
