I have had 2 calls today from this company telling me that my computer was having problems, they then instructed me to go to my computer and they would talk me through resetting my computer....... this is a scam!! If I had done what they wanted they could have got a lot of my personnel information. I may as well just have given them my PIN number
the number they phoned me from was 02032869239.

This scam has been going for ages. They want you to pay for an expensive 'cleaner' (£130 ish) to fix all the problems (not) they have highlighted.

Although they take over your computer remotely I think it's the cleaner they want to sell you, though passwords etc could also be a target.

Yes! Idiot DH let them take over his laptop and highlight hundreds of faults. I took over when he couldn't do the technical stuff and I realised it was a scam and pulled the plug, literally !

Fucking parasites.

There's an easy way to tell when your computer has a fault. It stops working properly.
