software for managing journal articles?

I don't even know if this exists, but I'm after some way of organising pdf journal articles.

I currently print everything off and scribble over it, but I'm wondering if there's a way of working with electronic articles that would let me organise and make notes on them.

anyone know of anything?

PDF expert (approx. £6 from iTunes App Store) is excellent for this.

You can write directly on the PDF and save the edited version. You can also email the edited version so it's good for both personal use and for sharing/editing documents with colleagues.

Zotero is an excellent bibliographic tool and it's free, just register at zotero.org
