I've connected with the USB cable and it can see the new hardware but says it needs a device driver, insert CD. Well no CD came with the phone so I cant. PC (windows vista OS) has looked on the internet but cant find the driver.

I've been to the Nokia site and all it talks about in the user guide is Mac Confused

I've done similar before and it was so easy to download the driver, but I seriously cant find it.

An online forum says for vista and xp it doesnt need a driver but my pc says it does!

I phoned 3 and they said go online and find it ..... thank you for the helpful suggestion. I will phone again next week when I have regained the will to live.

I have the 1020 but can you access SkyDrive on yours? If you could you could upload them to that then access them on PC that way?

i read about skydrive on the nokia website. i will go back and have a look but its seems a laborious way as I guess i would have to then transfer them to my pictures. Thanks I will give that a go Smile

groan. more shite!

finally got it installed and registered with microsoft but it says to upload photos from my phone will use my phone data. I've only got 250 per month so I dont think this is for me. Apart from driving me bonkers like the irritating icloud does too.

i only want simplicity Sad

Do you have Bluetooth on your computer? You could use that.

No Bluetooth on my ancient pc. I could probably download them onto my ipad and then up to the iCloud then put them on to my computer? (another thing I hate) only because I am a bit thick with it all and can't be bothered

I am doing a photography course and it says every time I open and close a JPEG photo some of the resolution is lost. Need to ask again about that but a bit concerned about that aspect.
