Probably daft Q re. Android phone, Kindle Fire and Apps

Can I use my Amazon account to download Apps onto my Samsung phone ? If so, are the same apps available for dd's Kindle Fire (if attached to same a/c) and could I just download those she already has onto the phone ?

Have a read here,I know it says for nexus 7 buts its Android so if your samsung phone is android it will work.I did download for my tablet but very rarely use tablert apart from kindle app so havent really used it
