Jelly bean keyboard problem (android)

I have the Galaxy note. It has just upgraded to jelly bean but the swype keyboard is impossible! I used ice cream sandwich swype without issue, but this new version seems to select letters one to the left of the one swyped.

For unattended, thus is a degree.

That was actually 'For instance, this is a sentence.'

It's killing me! Any advice?

Mine is fine since update, if anything better.

Tried " for instance this is a sentence" and the only error was Thus instead of this.

Is there a pointer calibration bit in the settings that needs re doing>?

I use SwiftKey, I find it to be much better than Swype anyway. Don't know if that helps though.....

Seems that it had samsung keyboard as default, instead of swype. All good now, thanks!
