Sky 1571 tone won't switch off even though no messages!

I picked up two messages from our Sky answer phone yesterday and deleted them by pressing 3. I also deleted two archived messages.

Now we still have the answer phone two tone thingy on the line even though there are no messages. I don't know how to get it to stop. Please can anyone help me?
