DS got a kindle last year and it;'s registered to my Amazon account. DD has just got one for her brithday and i have registered it to my account oo and it;s automatically loaded all of DS's books on there. Can we delete some of them just from DD's kindle or do we have to delete them from everything. And can we ste it up such that books don't get shared like this?
I am planning on buying myself one too and I don't want my books going to their kindles Smile

I think on your dd's kindle you should be able to just remove them from the device which won't totally delete them from your account. You just press the left hand side of the central button when the book to be removed is highlighted and it should show "Remove from device" and then OK.

Yes, and when you buys things in the future you should have a drop-down menu that says "deliver to" and you can choose which kindle you want it to go to. DH and I share an amazon account but not many books :)

Also, when you get yours (or now) you can set up parental controls on theirs.

thanks guys. I've seen the drop down box now and just ordered some free and 20p books for DD. DS's books are in an archived folder on DD's kindle and it doesn't do anything when I left click on the centre button. Shen i try it on DS's kindle it will let me delete them. So does DD just have to keep them in the archive folder?

Also, does anyone use the kindle book rental for £50 one off fee? Is ti worth it? Is the choice of books good enough?

TIA
