Twitter- how to change a password?

For the last week my following list and twitter feed are full of spam/people I have not followed. Has my account been hacked?

Have searched for a way of changing my password but can't seem to get in to be able to log in or out either.

How do I change my password and will this stop these people being added to my following list?

I can't do it on my phone on the app - but access it via PC.
Click on little wheel near the 'search' box
In the drop down click 'settings'
and on the left of the page is a 'password' section.

You can report on twitter that you have been hacked.

Yes, can't do it on iPad or iPhone. Grr.
