Recipe of the week

penguinmum's creamy fish pie: smoky, seasonal fish in a creamy white sauce with grated, rather than mashed, tatties on top - a meal of the highest comfort-food order.

I hope everyone is well & can make the next meet 11am Wed 2 Dec at Willows Farm http://www.willowsfarmvillage.com/ - it's been a while so I am looking forward to seeing you all.

We can meet by the2-4 area of Woolly Jumpers, the indoor soft play area (or in it). For lunch I suggest a packed lunch or eat in the cafe at woolly jumpers.

By our formula the next meeting should be 4 Jan (Mon) - it would behelpful to know if anyone can do this and if there is a venue suggestion (without a suggestion I will be suggesting soft play in Berkhamsted http://www.thekidzone.co.uk/about/index.html as long as itis open).

Let me know if you're coming!

(We are meeting weekdays at the moment but there is nothing to stop people who want to meet at other times joining the email list I do in addition to posting here & seeing if anyone else is up for this - just contact me with your email details)

Just moved to the area. My partner and I are parents-to-be ... hopefully! Do you ever meet at weekends or evenings as we work on Mon/weds but would love to meet up with new friends.

Hi

St Albans gay parents/parents to be has now formalised it's meeting schedule.

We are now meeting 1st Mon/Wed of each month alternating between Mon/Wed each month at 11am.

The next meetings are

Mon 7 Sept & then Wed 7 Oct

The plan for Mon 7 Sept is currently Willows farm http://www.willowsfarmvillage.com/ - kids over 2 are charged but there are often kids go free vouchers, for example they are on the back of parking tickets in radlett at the moment so keep your eyes peeled. I think the cost may be £7 an adult as it is outside peak time (peak is £11.50). There are good picnic areas so I would suggest those that can go club together to make a picnic we can share.

Let me know if you can make the meetings so we can look out for everyone.

Hi

Just to say I'm going to organise a meet for gay parents/parents to be in a coffee place in St Albans as I have located on various boards at least 3 couples. I will put details on here but it would be great if you could indicate any interest here.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
