Ds2 planted something at Badgers, think it's a bulb....

...have kept it in the dark, it has sprouted, does it need light now?

Yes. The light helps it to grow. They start of in warm, dark conditions to encourage the first root to grow. The root will look for light.

does he like it , was thinking of it for dd (6). I did start a thread but noone seemd to do it.

Soundn like bulb needs a windowsill now btw.

Yes he does. He started just before he was 6. It seems a lovely friendly organisation and they look very sweet in their uniforms.
Dd1 (11) is in Cadets, the older division, and enjoys it.
They are both looking forward to an adventure weekend in May, and over 8s also get to go on a summer camp.
