best gardens to visit in south west at this time of year?

I need inspiration for our garden (we moved in last summer and it needs work!). Any ideas which places (National Trust preferably) are looking best? We're in Somerset and i want to go this weekend, if it stops raining...

Knightshayes Court nr Tiverton or Killerton near Exeter are both really good. Knightshayes particularly cos it has a kitchen garden too
