what are the easiest fruit and veg for a novice to grow?

do them in the next month.you can get seed potato now.plant and ignore

french beans are easy too

thanks, its gonna take me a while as im relandscaping the whole thing, so i dont think ill be able to do spuds in time if i need to do them now.
although ive got a lovely strawberry planter so ill definatly use that, just need to buy some strawberry plants
and beans oh i love beans i also think they flowers on beans are pretty too.

cress on a flannel? now that is easy.

radishes very quick and easy.

Carrots. Courgettes. Broad beans. Lettuces. Chard.

Pumpkins later on.

onions, potatoes, beans (runner and french), strawberries and cherry toms (put both in hanging baskets)

Beans, beetroot (although never know what to do with them), oak leaf lettuce and other sharp tasting varities (less appealing to slugs), salad onions.

On no account: cauliflower, broccoli, carrots (ours were all about 4cms long).
