So whats the deal with BLUE BELLS? when do we plant them?

and where can we get barrall loads from? have I missed planting season again?

It is quite important (imho)that you plant the proper native ones, rather than the European ones. Our 'old fashioned' ones are getting over-run by the more dominant variety a la red/grey squirrel.

You can order now, but they won't be sent out until after they have flowered (March/April ish). Then they have to be planted almost as soon as you receive them.

You can get them from places like this. If you get any garening magazines they usually have lots of suppliers details at the back at this time of year.

You've reminded me to get on with ordering some and snowdrops. Thank you.
