Yellow flower - please identify this plant in my profile pics

We have lots of this in a border in our garden. It makes excellent ground cover, grows to about ?10-12 inches high. Lots of greenery (shown) and yellow flowers. It's still got one or two flowers hanging over from the summer so I guess flowers quite late.

We'd like more of it, to fill in the gaps in our newly cleared scrubland! Can you help?

I think this is St John's Wort (Hypericum) - we've got a couple of different varieties in our garden, one of which self-seeds everywhere!

I've got them - but I don't know what they are called either - they are fairly hard to kill

BonyM is right, I think - it looks like a Hypericum to me too.

I think it's Hypericum Hydcote. Didn't realise it's the same thing as St John's Wort!
