Planting for spring

Am I right that we should plant our bulbs soon? This is our first time so I want the garden to have loads of daffodils and spring flowers next spring. Apart from daffodils what else should we get? Apart from tulips and crokus what could we get?

Good idea, if I remember rightly they come up first too so I could put layers of which flower comes first. Are tulips and daffodils the same time?

I would read the packet, as eg some types of tulip come earlier than others. However, as a general rule daffodils are the earlier of the two.

Plant some wallflowers to, they are great in spring, you can get dwarf ones if you don't have much space. Also pansies, violas primroses, forget-me-not
