what colour to paint summerhouse?

any suggestions? it is to replace an ugly old garage and we don't want to just stain the wood, they all look so much nicer painted. the lady in the place said to use something like this if we want to paint it but it comes in so many colours and whilst my instinct says cream, they don't have a cream on offer so I can't decide. We won't choose until it is actually in situ but still it would be nice to get some idea.

Red, it would look so cheery all year round. Sandolin do a lovely brick red.

I've just painted my mums summerhouse cream with blue floor and edging. It's gorgeous!

oooh that does sound nice. we have a shed which is cream with a sort of reddish brown roof, door and window frames which seems to work well. Much better than just 1 colour I think.

We had a conservatory in our old house, which we painted a bright yellow and when repainted it was a creamy yellow. We chose this as we wanted it to look summery all year round. I know you're thinking about a summer house. If yellow would be too much on it's own for you, then maybe as a splash of blue.

I think yellow would be too much on the whole thing because it will be big but definitely possible as an accent. thanks
