I have been given these two little roses, one pink one white. I have them indoors at the moment, but I thought they might do better planted up in a larger pot outdoors. I have a few large pots including a long but narrow trough. How do you think they would look nice? And how to keep them alive as I do have a slight tendency to kill plants. I can only afford to send about 5 Pounds (ish) including some compost.

Use your existing pots livelablove and buy a small bag of organic compost to plant your roses with! If your pots are terracotta soak the pot thoroughly in water so that the terracotta doesnt absorb all the water from the compost.
Sounds wonderful.
Water well twice weekly in hot weather. Half a bucket full. Not more often.

Thanks very much. I have cleaned off my pot and will get some compost very soon. I think I will use the trough shaped pot and put one rosebush at each end.
