Hello on this gorgeous sunny day!
I have bought some 9" pots of white campanulas in the sale and wonder whether I can divide them straight away? I realize I will have very small plants but am happy to wait for a better show.

It sounds a bit small. Perhaps grow them on a bit and divide in the autumn or spring?

If the roots have more than one stem or shoot coming off them, and you can see an obvious place to divide, you quite likely can. But pot them on again in good compost before putting in garden, and keep well watered.
