Where can I buy a pumpkin plant? Have I left it too late?

My DS desperately wants to grow a pumpkin. We have only recently started growing our own vegetables and have managed potatoes, strawberries and onions so far.

Now DS wants pumpkins for Halloween...have I left it too late? My local BandQ didn't have any plants left and said it might be too late anyway.

Local plant nursery or garden centre. Too late to plant seeds usually , but get some and try. Pumpkins love the compost heap.
