Flowers/hanging basket help needed for August party!

Hiya, I'm getting married mid August and want my garden to look nice since I will be having a party here a couple of days after. I like having planted pots and hanging baskets etc but usually they start going over by then - some of my petunia based hanging baskets are going over already! Has anyone any ideas for what I could plantnow, or even just get closer to the time that would keep the garden looking full of flowers? Not so worried about the beds, have lots of penstemons and sedums that will be going strong at that point...but feeling idea-less about pots etc. Any tips would be fab!

Lilies for pots. Verbena are good or pots or baskets, keep going for ages. Pelargoniums. Dwarf cosmos in pots. Agapanthus in pots.

Trailing fuchsias would look good in pots and baskets too,
