After a lifetime balconies & window boxes, this is my second year caring for my lovely garden and I am so excited about getting to grips with it.
I want a cottage feel and the garden itself is halfway there but the one blight are my neighbours' wild blackberry bushes which run the length of our wire fence (approx 70 ft). I bloody hate them, whatever I plant in the borders just gets attacked by massive thorny branches. I thought the garden was looking reasonable last year but when I look at the photos all I see are messy thorns.
It's his fence, otherwise I'd erect a six foot wooden partition and be done with it. Although, they're so huge and grow so quickly the buggers would still find their way over
