Anyone grow or collect edible stuff?

I grow a raised bed veg garden, keep some chickens, and do a bit of salt water fishing. I would enjoy hearing about other's gardens and collecting/making things. I live in a warm climate so we are just starting the warm weather plants from seeds - I have 5 kinds of tomatoes, 5 kinds of pepper seeds, and a dozen other things begun in trays.

My winter greens and root crops are still going well. I have even bought a food dehydrator; would really like to hear from someone who uses one.
