Anyone undertaken an Early Education & Childcare course as a mature student? And if so....

  1. Was it full of youngsters and was that an issue (i.e. Feeling out of touch, or sticking out like a sore thumb)?

And
  1. What course did you enter on? I'm a bit confused as to whether I could start on the HNC instead of the NC. I probably do meet the qualifications criteria (just), although as a mature student I don't have to, however I have very strong professional background (unqualified tho - 14+ years in IT progressing eventually to a developer/analyst role which I built up to on the job).

I've been a SAHM for 5 years and am now looking to do something completely different. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
