A-Level Distance Learning Providers

Mrs Metimmee would like to study A-Level Chemistry via distance learning. It looks like a minefield with many dodgy providers, it is difficult to reliably test how good these colleges are. My current front runner is Pembrokeshire Online College, a provider which is also a local college which also provides the practical element on the same site.

Can anyone recommend, through first or second-hand experience, distance learning providers of A levels?

Open Study College also looks good, anyone used them?

Not for Chemistry but I did AS Sociology flexi study and the college I 'attended' - went to 2 sessions used NEC - National Extension College, the exhibition centre in Birmingham.

I forgot to turn up to one exam so scored 0, but I still ended up with a D grade.

Ha, good result...you must've done well with the other paper.

How was NEC?

They were good materials, I didn't need to use a text book at all and obviously got the grades in the papers I did do.
