I never do! You just lay them over the sauce/white sauce and make sure they are completely covered. Good luck!

I think it would say no boiling if you didn't need to boil them. Though most don't need pre-boiling these days. You could boil them a little bit to be on the safe side.

I do dip mine in hot water first, but purely so that I can make the damn things fit in the dish without over lapping!

My lasagne dish is a few inches short for the sheets and it's an impossible task to try and break the sheets into neat peices! If I dip them first, then they soften up a bit and I can cut them to size!

No I use them dry but with twice as much sauce as it seems necessary to use

we use fresh sheets so that solves the issue of whether or not to boil first

I never boil the dry sheets first, but you have to make sure that the sauce you are using has enough liquid to cook the pasta. If it's a really dry sauce, you'll just end up with crunchy lasagne. Of course if it's too liquid it gets all sloppy so it's a bit of a balancing act!

I've started using fresh sheets lately too, and I must admit the result is much better.

I don't. Some people soak them but I don't even do that.

I put them in the dish I'm going to use and cover with boiling water for a few minutes before assembling.

You don't need to boil them but I find they go dry and crunch if you don't do something
