Induction compatible pans please

My two lovely frying pans are at the end of their days. Not much money in the budget to splash out, but I do need to replace them.

I found a pair of Tefal ones on John Lewis, but they only come with one removable handle. I think I would go potty constantly having to change the handle from pan to pan whilst using them (though of course I could buy a second handle!) and the reviews are less than complimentary about the handle and how it scuffs off bits of the non stick around the rim of the pan.

Any other not too expensive options please? I am after a large frying pan and an omelette pan in case that makes any difference. If the large one had a lid, that could be useful, but not essential. Thanks

Can't really help as we splashed out on Le Creuset stainless steel pans when we got our induction hob. However, John Lewis has a wide selection of " induction cookware" on its website - not all are expensive. You have to ensure the bases are steel or cast iron rather than aluminium or copper.

The Meyer frying pans are good and work well on induction hobs - and cheaper than Le Creuset.

I have some lovely le creuset, my griddle and my casserole plus a sauce pan, all induction friendly, but I am desperate for frying pans on a lower budget unfortunately!

We have Jamie Oliver ones but I think the new range isn't Induction compatible. I also have some Le Creuset.

I have Le Creuset and the Tefal Ingenio range - the set with one handle between every pan!

It's fab. Very good quality, non stick and dishwasher safe.

ready - doesn't swapping the handle around between different pans on the hob at the same time drive you a bit mad?! I can't imagine doing it! I like the look of the Tefal pans though and the price is just about justifiable if the quality is good.

I haven't found it an issue, I think because for me the pros out weigh the one minor con and you can buy extra handles. Think they're available for around £11-£15. It's great being able to pop the pan into the oven to finish a dish off/keep the food warm and you can use them as cake tins :D

Oh one thing I did find odd, you need to buy lids separately but again, seeing as I rarely use lids it wasn't that much of an issue for me.

Google Castey Cookware as they offer induction pots and pans which also go in the oven. They are non stick, easy to clean and go in the dishwasher. I personally love them and they are cheaper than Le Creuset

I just went to TK Maxx with a magnet and found out which ones were induction hob compatible that way.

Ikea 365 pans are induction compatible and fairly cheap but good quality
