I made a girl called jack's aubergine curry, and put in a tin of chickpeas - it was lovely.

Not that different but I make a chana korma and vary with by adding mushroom, spinach etc.

Link fail! It's either here www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/member-recipes/Quick Chickpea and Spinach Curry /3797 or it's the jamie Oliver member recipethat comes up if you google chickpea and spinach curry. It's really easy and I like to make it with frozen spinach so it's a real cupboard staple. (I premix the spices in bulk so it's even quicker).

Jamie Oliver does a rogan josh veg curry recipe in his 30 min meal book. It's with chickpeas, spinach, cauliflower and butternut squash. It's delicious. I never follow the 30 min thing though and just do it in my own time!

If you Google it there is a blog which has the recipe (sorry, on my phone)

Another vote for the a River Cottage one made with ketchup. The original recipe had lager in it, but it seems to have been updated and that ingredient removed. It's much nicer than it sounds!!
