a raw food diet for a pick-me-up?

Very much in need of more energy (especially to cope with what's going on at work ...). Am vegetarian but still feeling sluggish and tired.

Thought about, for a short while at least, going raw or almost raw and seeing what happens. Avoiding wheat, and maybe cutting down on dairy in case that's playing a part in my fatigue (love milk - ).

Thanks for any thoughts!

I think a raw food diet as a boost can be great for many people but is probably best done when you are already on pretty good form.

Are you getting enough protein and fat do you think? And what supplements do you take?

It never hurts to try a couple of weeks off gluten and dairy (can be done separately but some people prefer to get it over with in one go). They should be reintroduced separately to check your reaction.

Something to also keep in mind, possibly as a last resort, is that people can be absolutely fine for years on a certain type of diet, but one that excludes meat and fish can lead to your body actually needing it-not everyone and not always, but not uncommon. Sometimes, animal protein is the only thing that will sort the problems out.
