People coming round Saturday - ideas please

Was going to do a barbecue but weather's looking a bit iffy so want to do something fairly simple and that can be prepared ahead if possible. Nothing too fancy. Two non-meat eaters, two not. Any ideas?

What about lots of salads and things? They can easily be prepared ahead and are not much hassle! You could have some sort of quiche thing, maybe two, one meat and on veggie. Just a thought!!!! HTH xxx

Thanks guineapig. Was going to do some salady bits to accompany the barbecue so could still go down that route. Never know the weather might be OK. My other thought was a chilli which I can put in the slow cooker and serve up when we're ready....

Ys we had that same Barbecue meal at the W/E with friends and it was lovely!! Your idea sounds great and you never know how the weather might turn out!! HTH and have a great time xxx
