So it's salad time, trying to find ways to make them more interesting but only know how to make a basic dressing with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Which ones do you make and love..?

just pretty bog standard vinaigrette here, but made with hazelnut oil and red wine vinegar. A pinch of mustard powder is my secret ingredient Smile

I just put a good glug of olive oil, squeeze of lime/lemon, 1 garlic clove grated, salt and pepper

Teaspoon of Dijon mustard in a small jar. Add c 1tbsp vinegar (cider or balsamic or raspberry all good) stir to combine. Add decent olive oil to taste and shake vigorously. Makes a lovely thick vinaigrette.

Or: lemon juice, lemon zest, chopped clove of garlic, olive oil, shake.

White balsamic vinegar, grated ginger and lime juice if you have any. Salt and pepper. Sometimes I add a little garlic. Mostly not.

It is VERY low in calories and really really tasty.
