Dinner party curry recipes?

I need help! I have friends round next Sat for dinner and thought i could do some kind of posh rice, a meat curry and a veg curry - but I can't find any recipes that take my fancy. Kirsty Allsop did a Madhu Jaffrey curry as part of her Homemade Xmas programme a while ago which is what i was thinking of but I can't find the recipe.

Any ideas and suggestions gratefully received! (especially if they are fairly easy and i can make ahead of time).
