Thanks, I like the look of that one. I have some new cookie cutters that I'm keen to try out!

I developed this Gingerbread recipe. It has no refined sugar but is still sweet and tasty. I added some dried pear which gives it a nice chewy texture and fruity flavour too. It was a hit with my little one and hubby.

Mmm, I made the BBC Food ones, wannabe. They look and taste lovely.

drladybird, I'd like to make a healthier version for DS, but I'm not sure that I like the taste of molasses. I love the idea of adding dried pear - I love dried apple, so I'll try that I think, apple and ginger sounds lovely.

Molasses is just black treacle. They sell it beside the golden syrup :)

Glad you liked them!

Apple and ginger does sound nice. Let us know how you get on.
You can also get blackstrap molasses from health food shops- it is great because it contains lots of goodstuff (iron and other vitamins) as well as being sweet.
